Fire & Smoke Curtain Solutions

Smoke Guard provides innovative and aesthetically appealing fire and smoke protection systems to fit any purpose and opening in a building. This complete range of curtain systems is flexible - both physically and in application. Smoke Guard protection systems can cover every opening, from small dimension dumbwaiters and pass through counters to expansive atrium spaces.

Elevator Hoistway Protection -

In combination with the fire-rated doors used in nearly all elevators, M200 and M400 elevator smoke curtains provide comprehensive and code-compliant smoke and draft opening protection. These units are easy to install in elevator openings and integrate seamlessly with existing fire protection systems to quickly bring a structure up to code. Product model selection is determined by size of hoistway opening.

For fire protection engineers who want to provide architects with the utmost freedom when designing elevator lobbies, the M600 Smoke Curtain is an ideal solution. The dimensions of the M600 are fully customizable, which allows it to seal nearly any opening.

vertical fire + smoke curtains -

This vertically deploying fire and smoke rated curtain is an economical choice for openings. This solution works well for atrium separation, openings in walls, and for specialty enclosures where fire-rated protection is required in areas which do not require egress in an emergency.

Flexibility is the defining characteristic of this fire + smoke curtain. Available in large dimensions, this vertically deploying solution is suitable for atrium separation, openings in walls, and specialty enclosures where fire-rated protection is required. This specialized curtain assembly can be specified with an optional split curtain access for manual egress.

horizontal fire + smoke curtain -

The Smoke Guard horizontal M3000 is a fire-rated assembly designed to function as a horizontally deploying opening protective between floors. Horizontal curtain deployment allows designers to compartmentalize large spaces such as atriums, drastically reducing or even eliminating mechanical smoke evacuation systems.

perimeter fire + smoke curtain -

Smoke Guard’s  M4000 fire-rated curtain is the ideal solution for vertically deploying perimeter curtain installations, and does not require corner support posts. This type of fire curtain can shield staircases or escalators from smoke and flames, or provide a reservoir for smoke on the upper floors of an atrium or other open space. While the M4000 does not provide gaps for egress, it can be an effective complement to existing mechanical smoke and fire containment systems or additional fire curtains.

draft fire + smoke curtain -

sg draft

SG Draft is a cost-effective, static curtain strategy for warehouses, aircraft hangers, and manufacturing environments, used in both sprinklered and non-sprinklered buildings for automatic smoke removal. Draft curtains channel the ceiling jet away from the fire and out of the building via roof vents either to automatically remove the smoke or to delay sprinkler activation.
